Ask the encryption passphrase at first boot

I just received my Librem5, so I wanted to share my fresh eyes unboxing experience. I know there are a lot of more important technical issues to be tackled and that the overall user experience is good enough at the moment (given that most of the L5 owners are tech savvy). However you have only one first boot in your life, so I think remembering the impressions can be valuable.

The first surprising thing is that the phone asks me a decryption passphrase (in English, with a qwerty keyboard #266).

It is not long to find the default decryption code, but I would have expected the phone to boot automatically, and then gnome-initial-setup to ask me to choose a decryption passphrase, once I have chosen my language and keyboard. qwerty keyboards does not have easy access to diacritics that are often used in European languages.
