What is the actual behaviour?
calls application crashing almost immediately after launch
What is the expected behaviour?
calls application running and usable
How to reproduce
- set up evolution to synchronize contacts from a davical server
- make some calls to contacts from the address book
- import the same contacts from a vcf file into the default offline address book
- launch gnome-calls ** the application starts and initially shows the phone numbers for the recent calls ** the phone numbers are being replaced with names from the address book ** within about a second after launch, the application exits without any error message

I used the precompiled Debian package from bullseye that comes with the PinePhone.
$dpkg -s gnome-calls
Version: 0.3.0-2
What hardware are you running Calls on?
PinePhone mobian edition
History (not really related to calls)
At first, the synchronization of the address book through electrum with my davical server worked nicely. But after a couple of days the address book was empty. When I tried to synchronize, an error about a corrupt database was shown. I removed the address book in evolution and set up the synchronization from scratch. To be prepared in case this would happen again, I imported the same contacts via a vcf file into the default offline address book. But then the above mentioned problem happened. After removing all the contacts form the default local address book again, the crash does not happen any more. So the problem is mitigated for me at the moment. But the behaviour is still not ideal and unexpected.
