Keyboard open doesn't auto-scroll screen to bottom

If you view a chat and the keyboard is open it doesn't scroll to the bottom, so you have to swipe to see the last message. Toggling the keyboard on and off is a way to see the issue.

Reproduction

  1. Open a chat with a long history
  2. See it doesn't auto-scroll to the last
  3. Toggling on/off the keyboard also reproduces the issue
