First Execution Shows No Conversations

Problem

When opening Chats from a clean boot (even if you wait many minutes) no conversations are shown. If you immediately close Chats and open again, conversations show up.

Expected Behavior

Opening Chats reveals any conversations the daemon already has registered the first time it opens.

Steps to Reproduce

  • Boot Librem 5
  • Open Chats
  • Note empty conversation window
  • Immediately close Chats
  • Open Chats again
  • Note populated conversation window
