Drops messages it can't decrypt to the floor

i'm chatting with somebody that can see my messages but i can't see his. In the logs on the receiving side I see on my end:

(10:41:32) lurch: received omemo message that does not contain a key for this device, skipping

Since lurch_message_decrypt aleady knows the remote should we at least have an error/warning message that there is a problem on the receiving side? If so this would need a change in purple-lurch as well.
