Displays empty window when on a slow wifi connection

When on a slow wifi connection (and it takes some time to connect to the XMPP server) chatty just displays a white window without any indication what's going on. There's two things

  • Chatty should indicate that it's connecting to my XMPP server
  • Since I have the SMS plugin installed I'd expect SMS conversations to show up immediately

Depending on the solution this might be two separate issues.

To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
