Support for displaying various inline files within a chat

ChattyMsgType has support for

  • CHATTY_MESSAGE_VIDEO,
  • CHATTY_MESSAGE_AUDIO,
  • CHATTY_MESSAGE_FILE,

And some protocols (e.g. MMS) support

  • multiple attachments in a single message

but chatty does not have inline support in the chat to display them. I am opening this issue to track the status of supporting these files inline in chatty.

To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
