SMS messages can be lost if the database is not mounted

When a new SMS arrives and chatty adds it to the chat it deletes it with an assumption that it will be written to disk. Apparently, it does not validate the most critical step of writing the message to the database. It should do so before deleting the message.

I just had a bus reset where home was no longer mounted. I could see messages from three different contacts. Upon replying I notice the default squeekboard, which indicates the failed home mount. After reboot, none of the 4 new messages were to be found.
