matrix: sending a file along with text doesn't work

To reproduce:

  • in a matrix room
  • type some text
  • hit the file symbol and add a file to your message
  • hit send

The file will be send, the text will be lost.

When tried in an SMS/MMS conversation the file is send along with the text as a MMS.

To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
