Should be part of the default session
In order to accept SMS, play ringtones, etc. chatty should be part of the default session (but start windowless).
So we likely want a --daemon
mode and an extra desktop file that is not picked up by default.
Due to an influx of spam, we have had to impose restrictions on new accounts. Please see this page for instructions on how to get full permissions. Sorry for the inconvenience.
source.puri.sm migrated to a new server, see new ssh key fingerprint.

mentioned in issue #98 (closed)
This issue should more clearly say that chatty currently cannot show any incoming SMS unless it is currently running itself.
The result on the devkit is tha it will even silently "drop" SMS even though the sender receives a "received notification".
Related to this might be: show a notification on the lock screen.
(And unrelated might be: we (the modem) should wake up the system on incoming sms/call so that all the above can happen in the first place)
