The first challenge is that I have no way of detecting whether the phone boots if I press the power button. Most smartphones vibrate shortly when powered on, but Librem 5 does not. Do you think this feature could be added (preferably to u-boot). I think it would also benefit sighted people.

My understanding is that adding back a haptic response in U-boot should not be that hard.
