Wifi: rsi_load_firmware Flash is Empty

Steps leading to the issue:

  • Used ./scripts/librem5-flash-image --dist byzantium to freshly flash my new L5 to byzantium
  • Set up the phone and installed updates via apt
  • I was trying to install plasma mobile so it was downloading for a while and the connection got really slow and it failed
  • I think shortly after it failed, it lost connectivity interrupting my ssh session, so I rebooted

Wifi won't come up now even if I reboot, cold boot, or toggle any combination of the hks/software switches, dmesg shows:

redpine_91x: redpine_set_clr_tx_intention,357: Wait event failed
redpine_91x: rsi_coex_scheduler_thread,112:  Failed to get tx_access
redpine_91x: rsi_probe: Failed in probe...Exiting
