The application starts with a Welcome screen

What about adding something like "On the first startup, the phone will welcome you with the initial setup application" before? So it transitions nicely from the previous page. Because from a users' POV, they just unlocked their phone and may not understand what is that application you are talking about.

Maybe it's also worth specifying that all things set during the initial setup phase can be changed later via the Settings application, to directly release the stress of messing up.
