Instructions for updating Debian unclear

The contributions-librem5 doesn't fully describe how to update the Debian package - after executing debian/update-git-snapshot, there are still steps to take, judging by the filled uncommitted changelog. How to properly deal with that? Describe changes from the merge commit message once again? Replace the name? How to modify the first line?
