add checks for patches to grub configuration (can't enter pin for LibremKey during boot)
edit: subject, look here
I ran the script successfully with only the warnings documented in the other issue. After reboot I'm being asked in a small ascii window to enter the pin for my LibremKey. It shows the correct username I set on the key and its serial.
Each keystroke generates a single *
(btw: This is bad because a person watching me would know the length of my pin..., but that is not the issue here). When I hit ENTER at the end of my pin the only thing that happens is that there appears another *
asterisk at the end of the line with my pin.
I used TAB to change the focus to the 'OK' button and then hit enter - nothing happened. Using SHIFT-TAB I get another window with a graphical progress bar slowly advancing. Generally there is not difference between SHIFT-TAB and ALT-TAB: Both combinations switch back and forth between the ascii window for pin entry and the graphical progress bar.
When the graphical progress bar finally reaches it end nothing happens.
I'm stuck there.
I'm on a Librem13v4 with a german keyboard and running PureOS as it came already installed. There are no updates I didn't install. I have a modified /etc/udev/hwdb.d/60-keyboard.hwdb with the Librem-lines in the Purism section commented out to get my '|' pipe key working.
The rescue entry works and I can unlock my drive using my old password.
