Run rootston via ssh

If you don't want to use phosh's systemd unit but just start rootston but have not keyboard connected but ssh access you can login via ssh and start rootston via openvt. This requires root access and is really only for testing purposes. Don't run your session like this.

  • qemu flakes out:

openvt: Using VT /dev/tty1openvt: Couldn't deallocate console 1root@pureos:~#
  • does another vt work -c 6 ?

  • Not all vts work, but when they do:

    root@pureos:~# openvt -w -v -s -c 5 -f -- /usr/bin/phoc
    openvt: Using VT /dev/tty5root@pureos:~#

    and there's no phoc process.
