Calls and SMS blocking

What application do you wish to be present on the phone and what is its function?

Not an application but instead a feature. The phone should be able to block incoming calls and SMS. I also want to make another wish ticket about the implentation of Signal and maybe have calls and sms blocking in that aswell. You should have the option to choose between all calls blocking and/or SMS blocking depending on which option you choose. Can be both. Also have the option to block all calls and/or SMS that is not in your contacts. Ideas from Blacklist Blocker on F-Droid.

Would this application need to be ported or added? Ported indicated that the app already exists as a GTK+ or Qt app but needs to just be made mobile friendly. Added indicates that there is not already a GTK+ app and would require more effort.

Why is this application better than other applications that serve the same function (like Notes vs Tomboy)? We would like to generally promote GNOME applications here but if there isn't one avaialble to serve this app function, then it is worth the effort to at least make note of other similiar applications features to choose an app that will be more widely accepted.

Well this is something you cant be without. Dont now if the gnome apps already have it but if it isnt this complicated as I described then it sure needs to get added to the phone at some point.

No idea, might not be that hard as its only calls and SMS blocking and not a new app with tons of features.
