Limit journalctl log size on Librem 5
Because it can take quite an amount of space in the L5 storage unit.
We use the defaults for Journalctl from upstream Debian, which for many use cases use larger storage units.
With the Librem 5 we have 32GB emmc.
We have had reports of users with journalctl logs when unchecked, and using the current defaults, taking 2,9GB and in some cases 4GB of storage space. making in some cases more than 10% of the storage unit occupied with logs.
Some users have resorted to: sudo journalctl --vacuum-size=200M
to reclaim storage space.
suggestion: Limit by defaults log to 500MB - 1GB, as it can still provide data from previous days/week, to prevent too much storage space to be filled on a L5.
