MMS Does Not Work With Optus Carrier (Australia)
Hello Guys (wish I'd got in for issue 666). After many trials and conversations, it seems that MMS on chatty does not work with Australian carriers generally, and Optus specifically. I have setup the carrier APN details as designated here. Every time I try and send/receive an mms message, my attempts get duplicated but the intended recipient receives nothing/I send nothing out. Also, in my experience, the application itself becomes unpredictable, duplicating or deleting messages.
In discussion with others on the optus network (which amaysim is on), we are all having this issue. It has been mentioned to me that perhaps because the data apn (yesinternet) and the MMS apn (MMS) differ, this may be what is causing the issue. We are not sure, though, what the problem is here.
