Selfie camera can't display 640x480 preview in Megapixels

Capturing at a higher resolution means that the preview lags a good fraction of a second, making the use of preview confusing.

Interestingly, it works for me and has worked for some time already - even though I'm sure that I've seen it broken in the past as well.

It's pretty fast in 640x480, but the displayed area is cropped (when I take a photo in 3264x2448 I can see it significantly "zooming out" for a moment)

works for me too. and for a same-area preview-mode, there is this issue now: https://source.puri.sm/Librem5/linux-next/-/issues/323

I guess it was solved since Megapixels was last touched then.
