enforce auto-brightness on lockscreen
If the brightness of the screen is not in "auto"-mode, unlocking the device in daylight could be a problem, due to the low initial screen brightness needed for indoor usage and energy conservation.
I suggest to override brightness settings on the lockscreen, so it's always possible to unlock the device easily.
As Fedora entered the state of "useable as Daily Driver" ~2 weeks ago, i.e. folks including me, are using it as intended: outside. This is no longer a theoretical problem, it now switched to real life problem ;)
Before you ask: Kernel 5.12, auto-suspend and wake-on-call support of ModemManager made ~2 days on battery possible. Without ModemManager Patch => 7 days in deep-sleep.
