Cleanup gtk-doc strings

This brings down the gtk-doc warnings quite a bit and adds helper to check for errors ignoring the warnings from generated dbus and wayland protocols.

Having this fixed makes sure we don't copy around bad examples. I'll make the gtk-doc check a hard error once the last bits are fixed.
