Usage instructions do not work with curl/oudated download URL
STR
Follow:
- or https://source.puri.sm/firmware/utility/-/tree/master#usage
But replace wget
with curl … > output file
cause you have no wget on your system hehe…
What happens
It won't work for a simple reason: You will get a 301 or so (IIRC) redirect as HTML file written into it. Wget apparently auto-follows redirects, but curl does not. Or does it? Well in my case it did not.
Solution
Anyway, you can easily fix that as the URL is just outdated – I assume changes in GitLab.
https://source.puri.sm/firmware/utility/-/raw/master/coreboot_util.sh is the correct new (direct) URL, in contrast to
https://source.puri.sm/coreboot/utility/raw/master/coreboot_util.sh which is the old, outdated URL that redirects.
I would have done a PR (for this repo at least, dunno where the source for the website is), but, you see, permissions missing…
