RFP: ldh-gui-suite in PureOS next
Problem statement
PureOS user story: I am an everyday PureOS user and Librem One subscriber. I want to install a social app, so that I can use Librem Social.
Librem 5 user story: I am an everyday Librem 5 owner and Librem One subscriber. I want to install a social app, so that I can use Librem Social.
Generic user story: I am an everyday Debian and Mastodon-or-derivative user. I want to install a social app, so that I can toot from the host of my choice.
Proposed solution
Package all client dependencies as ldh-gui-suite
and make it part of the default package set.
sudo apt install ldh-gui-suite
One of these would be an Epiphany web wrapper for social.librem.one
.
The package should be brand- and domain-agnostic so it can be re-configured for other LDH-conformant domains.
